We are looking for a talented Junior Revenue Management engineer to help us revolutionize the hospitality market!

We are seeking a talented Junior Revenue Management Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative organization. As a Junior Revenue Management Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and maximizing the revenue potential of hotels and vacation rental properties through our cutting-edge OTA (Online Travel Agency) ranking algorithm.

Key responsibilities  

• Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop and enhance the OTA ranking algorithm, ensuring it remains effective and competitive in the dynamic hospitality industry

• Analyze data related to hotel performance, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for revenue optimization
  ‍
•  Assist in the implementation and execution of revenue management strategies to increase occupancy rates, ADR (Average Daily Rate),and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room)
  ‍
•  Conduct regular audits of hotel profiles on various OTAs (Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Trivago) to ensure accurate and optimized content
  ‍
• Monitor competitor pricing, availability, and market demand to recommend pricing adjustments and promotions to maximize revenue
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals
  ‍
• Generate reports and presentations to communicate key findings, performance metrics, and revenue optimization strategies to internal stakeholders
  ‍
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to revenue management and OTAs
  ‍

Attributes we are looking for GO/NO GO

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or Statistics
  ‍
• Fluent in Dutch and English
  ‍
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
  ‍
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) is a plus
  ‍
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  ‍
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  ‍
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and staying ahead of industry trends
